Increase sword durability
Press [Start] to pause game play, then hold [R1] + [R2] and press [Right]x2, [Left]x2, [Down], [Up], [Circle]. The main player's currently equipped sword will increase in hardness by one. Repeat as needed to reach the maximum hardness of five. This cannot be done in versus mode. In the PAL version of the game, press [Start] to pause game play, then hold [L1] + [R2] and press [Down]x2, [Left]x2, [Right], [Up], [Circle]. In the Japanese version of the game, press [Start] to pause game play, then hold [R1] + [R2] and press [Right]x7, [Left], [Down], [Up], [Square]. In the Japanese "Complete" version of the game, press press [Start] to pause game play, then hold [L2] + [R2] and press [Left], [Right], [Left], [Right], [Up]x2, [Triangle].
